Mithy Retires, Moves To Coach Fnatic 2020

League Of Legends Esports Offseason officially started on November 18, 2019, and with it a lot of news broke, rosters swapped and contracts signed in anticipation for the next competitive year.

Here On TheRIFT, We reported last week on LCS roster moves, and today sources told us Alfonso Aguirre Rodriguez or Mithy Origen Support is Retiring after 7 years of nurturing ADCs, protecting towers in botlanes and warding jungles all around the world.

The 25 years protege joined his first big scale competitive team Ninjas in Pyjamas in October 2013. Mithy and Erlend “Nukeduck” Holm were banned from Riot Games-run competitions including the LCS for the rest of 2014 for using racial slurs online, he was since reformed, and joined G2 on May 19, 2016, wreaking havoc on the rift with his ADC and best friend Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen ahead of the 2016 Summer EU LCS split. He has also played for the NA Team SoloMid, before coming back to Europe as Origen Support in Dec 2018.

The Futur of Mithy

Fortunately, we will be seeing Mithy again not as a competitive player, but as a coach for one of the most established teams in LEC, Fnatic is acquiring Mithy as head coach for the next competitive year 2020.

What Happened to Youngbuck ?

Joey “Youngbuck” Steltenpool, left Fnatic to take a job with Excel as head coach for the LEC season [Confirmed].
